Formerly known as Isola Superiore, this rustic island, known for its simplicity, is located amongst the contrasting beauty of Isola Bella. It was the first island to be inhabited by locals, which were attracted to it by its traditional architecture comprising of narrow streets and typical fishermen houses, as well as its un-matched beauty and romantic atmosphere.
Although today it is now known as a busy tourist retreat, it still retains its old world charm and mystique.
